From July 1, 2026, new legislative requirements to protect customers from cyber fraudsters come into force in Belarusian banks. Now, when entering banking, the system will analyze the «digital fingerprint of the device» - a unique profile of your smartphone or computer (model, OS, geolocation and more than 20 other parameters).

If the data changes dramatically or the system suspects a substitution, access will be temporarily blocked until the owners confirm their identity.

Why does the application need access to geolocation?

Location data allows security algorithms to instantly recognize an entry from an unusual location and prevent fraudulent transfers even before an attacker has time to conduct an operation.
